Hi Matt! This is Amy Glover. I just read the article you wrote on words. I recently read this quote,

Each age has its own outlook. It is specially good at seeing certain truths and specially liable to make certain mistakes. We all, therefore, need the books that will correct the characteristic mistakes of our own period. And that means the old books.
C. S. Lewis

I believe this is probably true of songs as well, Don't you?

I'd like to comments on your emphasis on the hope of eternity for the elderly. I think that if we are not living with the eternal in view (all of us) then we are spiritually short sighted. Don't you think the purpose to so many of our joys and sorrows is the beautiful reminder that the best is yet to come? Not with dualism, but viewing our every day lives as sacred, knowing that there is eternal purpose in our every day. I guess, what I'm saying is. Isn't this the hope of every Christian?

Hi Matt! You know what, I just read the last portion again to that last point you made. I think we are saying the same thing. :) So, never mind me. :)

I haven't stopped by in ages but thought of you guys and looked you up. Give Lu a love for me.

Blessings to you and yours!
